Spoiler Alert!

Take a first hand look at the outfits I’ve prepared for an editorial in Sri Lanka.

More than stuffing a suitcase, you must coordinate the items to make it all work.

When I mentioned I was assembling a fashion production here in Sri Lanka, I omitted one small detail: I was my “personal very” stylist in the job. This time, I also worked in front of the camera.

What about…?

A three-day experience in a sophisticated hotel, reviewing the hospitality, comfort, gastronomy, activities, spa … When the magazine contacted me, they made it clear that a lot of pictures would be taken and I would also have to record short video testimonials. Still, I found the invitation irresistible.

Too flamboyant?

I almost panicked after receiving the programming: I would have to be a Ninja to put together 10 outfits counting only with the clothes and accessories I’m crying for these 10 months travel?

I also didn’t resist exploring the ambiance as background for my jumping series!

To fill my suitcase with a stylish production, I counted with the collaboration of some cool local brands such as Abstract, Rare and the online shop Thirteen-ThirtyOne, where I’ve chosen the items that suit all occasions, privileging the most appropriate to be captured from all angles.

Many thanks to Abstract (hat and top) – Hotel Chena Huts by Ugga

These pictures were taken by my fellow blogger – and professional photographer – Alice Luker, from Style in Sri Lanka. As she was also involved in this job, we had fun clicking each other’s outfits during the breaks and it helped me to relax in front of the other cameras.
